«Просящий просил о постигающем наказании» — т.е. он просил ускорить грядущие мучения.
Подобно этому Аллах сказал:
﴾وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَبِٱلْعَذَابِوَلَنيُخْلِفَٱللَّهُوَعْدَهُ﴿ «Они торопят тебя с наказанием, но Аллах не нарушает Своего обещания»(Сура 22, аят 47). Т.е. наказание это(по истечению времени) неизбежно свершится. Аль-Ауфи сообщил, что Ибн Аббас о словах Аллаха: ﴾سَأَلَسَآئِلٌبِعَذَابٍوَاقِعٍ﴿«Просящий просил о постигающем наказании», сказал: «Это вопросы неверующих о грядущем наказании Аллаха».
Муджахид прокомментировал:
﴾سَأَلَسَآئِلٌ﴿ «‘‘Просящий просил’’ — т.е просящий( из-за его неверия) просил(чтобы на него обрушились) страдания, которые обещаны им в следующей жизни. Об этом их слова: ‘‘О Аллах! Если это является истиной от Тебя, то обрушь на нас камни с неба или же подвергни нас мучительным страданиям’’»(Сура 8, аят 32)
